Schools or universities that did not subscribe to the EDUNIVERSAL subscription do not have any right to use, reproduce or exploit, in any way whatsoever, the elements protected by intellectual property rights belonging to EDUNIVERSAL, namely:
- Trademarks registered in the name of EDUNIVERSAL, especially the “EDUNIVERSAL” trademark and logos and any other associated trademarks;
- Copyrights relating to the trophies and wall plaques comprising the Palmes of Excellence;
- Designs and models registered in the name of EDUNIVERSAL;
- Videos, animated films, widgets, slogans and any other copyrighted visual or communication material designed and distributed by EDUNIVERSAL;
- Educational content, rankings, confidential analysis or any other services reserved for licensees.
Any attempt to use, appropriate, reproduce or distribute (even partially) these elements without prior written authorization from EDUNIVERSAL constitutes an act of counterfeiting, punishable under the Intellectual Property Code, as well as an act of economic parasitism and unfair competition, making the offending establishment liable according to civil and criminal laws.
EDUNIVERSAL reserves the right to take any legal action necessary to stop such unlawful practices, to obtain compensation for damages suffered, and to protect the integrity of its intellectual property rights, image, rankings and proprietary content.
